Born in Houston, Texas, Michael began playing guitar at the age of 11, quickly learning to play his favorite Beatles songs by ear. He immediately began composing songs in that style calculating that ... well, if it worked for the Fab-Four ...........

He began his music studies at North Texas State University (now called The University of North Texas) in the Classical Guitar performance program and completed his Master Degree in Music at Yale University (still called Yale University.)

In the mid 1980's he took advantage of the digital revolution and began applying his composition skills to broader orchestral styles.

He currenly lives in Fredericksburg, Texas and composes music for film, advertisement and web applications.
